The “Snow Garden” of Myōman-ji is a karesansui in which white sand is likened to snow, expressing the serene stillness of a winter landscape. The arrangement of stones evokes snow-covered mountains, guiding the viewer into a pure, unblemished world. I overlaid this imagery with the subtle order of electronic circuits, reconstructing it through Pixel Montage. The resonance of winter’s clear air and the precision of technology creates an eternal “snow scene” that never melts.
