The garden of Shōden-ji is renowned as a “borrowed scenery garden,” incorporating Mount Hiei into its composition. The arrangement of white sand and stones harmonizes with the mountain ridgeline, creating an expansive sense of unity with nature. I combined this scenery with the intricate patterns of electronic circuits, expressing it through Pixel Montage. Up close, delicate order emerges; from afar, majestic harmony unfolds—allowing the viewer to experience a contemporary Zen where micro and macro perspectives intersect.
